The 8X pin and socket housing were used on the 2006 - 2014 K26 model police motorcycles to connect the rear light pod to the motorcycle harness. Select the connector and order the pins or sockets separately. The 2.5 mm connectors are used by BMW for higher amperage loads such as radios and major power cable distribution. In most applications, these connections are not sealed, as they are utilized in compartments that are already weather-resistant.
