Code 3 Mega-Thin Emergency Lights: These lights feature six LED's that generate an excellent light output along with a very flat mounting profile. The light is the smart-head version coded to steady-burn, so there is some flutter when used in cruise light mode. Lights come pre-programmed to steady-burn mode along with BMW waterproof terminal connections already installed. Available in standard colors, the lights can be mounted on the FMS Accessories license plate bracket or surface mounted on the back of saddlebags, side of radio box, etc.
Must be used in conjunction with the Emergency Light Module (ELM) which provides the trigger signals to operate the additional lights without strain on the stock BMW emergency lighting system.
Note: When in "Cruise Light" mode, most available auxiliary LED lights other than the Feniex Fusion will flutter trying to mimic the high pulse rate of the "Cruise Light" mode modulated output that produces a dimmer steady-burn vehicle front and rear emergency light. Though the ELM can perfectly duplicate this frequency, most available additional lights can not display it perfectly, including the Code 3 Mega-Thin.
