19" extension of the 4x connector emergency light harness. For use when mounting lights in saddlebags in non-standard locations where you need to extend the harness from the original planned location.

Splits a single four-conductor emergency light connector into two outputs. Needed when adding a third light set output to the rear when only two harness connections exist. Needed for double duplex lights with 8x / 10x license plate lights, or 8x / 10x license plate lights together with 4x license plate light set.

FMS has developed a license plate mounting set for the 4x emergency lights, that allow the rider to display the blue ID light, flicker brake light, as well as full emergency lights. This set-up requires the use of config file positions 15 & 16 (front side lights under mirrors), coded to rear rather than front activation. This set requires a specific Config File be used in either CA or 49-state version that contains these adjustments as well as license plate mounting set FMSA-MT-LPMT. The 4x license plate EL set can be used in conjunction with the 8x or 10x license plate mount emergency lights, or in place of them. This set is compatible with BMW Rider Assist Safety Package Option 5AS.

A change was made in production in 02/2026 to add drain holes to front pods to address complaints of moisture in pods from washing / heavy rain. A drilling template was created to enable earlier production pods to be updated easily. Printed glass fiber reinforced ABS templates include a 1/8" drill bit. BMW Dealers will receive one template set free-of-charge. Agencies may request templates free-of-charge to update motors to avoid taking them out of service. Replacement license plate el harness for R 1300 RT-P additional light installation. Replace a damaged harness or use to add two more rear facing emergency lights. If 4 additional emergency lights are added to the rear, front side locations will need to be used, as there currently are not 4 positions in the software to assign more than two additional rear lights.
