Gun Lock Timer - Only for LAPD Release Harness

Harness to add a second gun lock release to the weapon system. As used by LAPD, which uses K&L connectors on their rifle racks. This harness requires the addition of the SC-7009-A lock release timer. Formerly BMW PN 71 60 2 452 877 A second version has been created with BMW connectors to accommodate the FMS or BMW rifle mount for use by non-LAPD agencies. A notepad holder / bail is a very handy accessory for holding notes, directions or other documents either when parked or while riding. Constructed of formed and tumbled stainless steel, with a stainless steel clip bail riveted to the base. Includes, aluminum spacers, longer stainless steel bolts and 50 sheet notepad. The rifle mount requires a mounting bracket. Theses brackets are available for right or left side mounting. Though right side is normally the preferred side as it is the dismount side, a left side bracket is also available. Standard RH or LH brackets accommodate barrel lengths up to 14". The NEW Long Rifle Mounting bracket (available in March 2021) accommodates barrel lengths up to 18" (note length includes barrel + suppressor if equipped). Note that using the Long Rifle Mounting bracket raises the rifle stock above the radio box lid height and may partially obstruct the RH side rear pod emergency light, depending upon view angle. Note when using RH long rifle mount w/long barrels, we suggest ordering the heat shield to protect the muzzle cup from excessive exhaust heat. Formerly BMW PN 71 60 2 452 840 RH
