Rifle Mounting Brackets

New R 1300 RT-P mounting bracket is designed for RH side long but works with all barrel lengths through 18", including suppressors. Orientation provides optimal protection for optics as rifle is mounted 15 degrees from the direction of travel. A stabilizer brace is also recommended for this mount, which reduces any vibration and eliminates any possibility that the rear EL lens can be damaged if the rifle is bumped. Note: Modification is required when mounting earlier model rifle upper mounts to R 1300 RT-P models long rifle brackets. Specifically, relocating pin for rubber strap, or it could damage taillight.

FMS Rifle mounts produced from 06/2023 with pre-drilled holes to mount the optional helmet lock can take advantage of a new long rifle mount support bracket, which provides stability to the rifle mount, reducing vibration / jiggle on R 1300 RT-P models. Support bracket attaches to duplex light mount (using longer M5 x 25 bolts with nuts) and to the rifle mount using the M6 x 8 counter-sunk screw through the unused helmet lock hole.

Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) for 2026+ R 1300 RT-P models - right hand side only. Lowers rifle mount by 1.75" creating more clearance and less obstruction of side rear emergency light. Additionally, the lower positioning allows for older rifle mounts with the rubber strap pin located in the deeper position.

A long rifle mounting bracket was developed to accommodate rifles with long barrel lengths (18") or shorter barrel rifles with suppressors. The rifle sits higher, angled 30 degrees to the right of center, providing more protection for optical sights. The mount is angled slightly toward the rear tire, to provide full clearance while riding at maximum lean angle. An additional bolt location is provided at the bottom to stabilize the lower support extended fully. A spacer is provided for the top mounting position to allow more flexibility with lower support lengths. Made from stainless steel.

The LASO is a rifle mounting bracket made specially for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Office to mount their SBR's in a RH high position similar to the RH Long Rifle Bracket, but more angled for straighter alignment with the direction of travel and no angle toward the rear tire. No additional mounting point for long barrel rifle lower supports.

Note: New Gen 2 Rifle Mounts are not compatible with this bracket. LH rifle mounting bracket for 2015-2024 RT-P models. Only for rifles with total barrel length (including suppressor) up to 14". Minor modifications are required on some BMW rifle mounts. Modifications include drilling a new exit hole for the gun lock cable exit and cutting a small "V" notch in the gusset to clear the LH turn signal. All other spacing is sufficient to operate the rifle mount. Please download the installation instructions to see the minor changes required and print the templates for left side mounting.
