Rifle Mount Accessories

Now In Stock! FMS has created a rifle cover that is easily removed for fast access to your rifle. Agencies have requested a cover designed to make exterior mounted rifles look less threatening to the general public and provides some dust and water protection at the same time. The cover, made of rugged 1,000 denier ballistic nylon, is attached with two Velcro straps. The handy loop at the top makes removal quick by detaching the two Velcro straps and lifting the cover off the rifle. The cover was designed to fit rifles with carry handles / smaller optics. Note that the cover only extends down to cover the forearm to avoid issues related to exhaust heat.

FMS Rifle mounts produced from 06/2023 will incorporate pre-drilled holes to mount the optional helmet lock. Lock comes complete with unique pair of keys as well as special T30 Counter-sunk SS bolts for mounting. Blue Loctite is required when assembling lock to mount.

FMS has created a rifle heat shield to deflect the exhaust heat when your rifle mount is adjusted where the muzzle cup is directly in line with the exhaust from the muffler. Examples have been reported where the plastic dip coating on the muzzle cup melts-off. This new heat shield should prevent that. Most typically needed for RH long rifle mounts where the muzzle tip is directly in-line with the exhaust outlet.

Replacement pin for AR15 models with Torx screw to prevent unitended removal of the pin while in a rifle mount. Rifle mounts do not change the factory recommended load limits of the motorcycle.

Retrofit Kit - Glass fiber reinforced ABS cable cover for long rifle mount applications. Covers lock release cable to enable routing down the left side of rifle mount and exit below magazine into turn signal housing. Kit includes cable cover, four black 1/8" pop rivets and one grommet for wire exit below magazine. Instructions and more detailed photos to follow.

Harness to add a second gun lock release to the weapon system. Specified by several agencies, the harness comes with BMW connectors to accommodate the FMS rifle mount. Note the special version harness for LAPD only, which uses K&L connectors on their weapon mounts. Either harness requires the addition of the SC-7009-A lock release timer. Select the desired version in the drop-down box.

The Santa Cruz adjustable (7-40 seconds) gun lock timer is only used when a secondary release button is added to the motorcycle. The standard gun lock release button on the handlebar already has a 30 second hold feature from the vehicle body controller. Formerly BMW PN 71 60 2 452 895

Replacement Part: The Santa Cruz SC-1 gun lock is one of the most popular locks on the market today and used on all of the weapons mounts sold by FMS Accessories. The SC-1 now features the round barrel key lock along with reinforced electric lock release and is standard on all weapon mounts sold by FMS Accessories. Note that a longer 25" cable is required for 2019+ F-Series models).
